A cult favorite film, ‘Pulp Fiction’, is dropping seven Secret NFTs on OpenSea, giving fans the opportunity to own a piece of iconic movie memorabilia. The first set of items are limited edition 1997 Quentin Tarantino-signed posters for ‘Reservoir Dogs’ and ‘Pulp Fiction’. There will be more sets coming in 2019 with different conditions.
The “nft documentary” is a cult favourite that is dropping seven Secret NFTs on OpenSea. The items are currently being auctioned off for the highest bidder.
Following his lifetime achievement award at the Rome Film Festival, Quentin Tarantino, the award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, novelist, film critic, and actor, will auction off seven unedited Pulp Fiction Scenes as non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
@CNBC has a whole new show. Secret Network has helped Quentin Tarantino break into NFTs.
As Secret NFTs, seven unedited sequences from “Pulp Fiction” will be published, together with original handwritten screenplays and rare audio commentary from Tarantino himself. https://t.co/OaQLinUAIn

The NFTs are based on Secret Network, the first Layer 1 blockchain to provide apps with anonymity by default. Secret Network’s primary development business, SCRT Labs, will assist this NFT drop, which will highlight some of the network’s ground-breaking inherent privacy and access restrictions. OpenSea, the world’s biggest NFT marketplace, will host the auctions.
Tarantino remarked, “I’m pleased to be offering these unique clips from PULP FICTION to fans.” “The Secret Network and Secret NFTs open up a whole new realm of linking fans and artists, and I’m ecstatic to be a part of it.”
Many of Tarantino’s films have cult followings, but Pulp Fiction stands out as a $213.9 million box office hit on a modest $10 million budget. The film has received critical praise, winning the Palme d’Or at Cannes and receiving seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. Tarantino was also awarded the Academy Award for Best Screenplay.
Why is it necessary to publish on the Secret Network?
Hidden NFTs provide a breakthrough and unique feature: each NFT at auction includes “secret” material that can only be seen by the NFT’s owner. The unedited original handwritten screenplays of “Pulp Fiction” and special bespoke commentary from Tarantino, exposing mysteries about the picture and its creator, will be included in the hidden material, which has never been seen or heard before.
The NFT’s public metadata — the “front cover” of this exclusive material — is a one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen, public-facing piece of art in and of itself.
Secret NFTs provide both public and private content access. To date, public-facing metadata has been used to propagate all NFTs on Ethereum and other major public-by-default blockchain networks.
In other words, the photos in the NFT wallet of collectors are exposed to everyone, and the creator or owner has no control over who sees them. Secret NFTs, on the other hand, help to modify this by allowing NFTs to include both public and private information, as well as allowing the owner to choose whether or not to publicly disclose ownership.
