A new report from an authoritative source claims that Elon Musk, Tesla and SpaceX CEO, said at today’s Tesla conference that the electric vehicle maker is looking to work with Bitcoin miners.
Elon Musk has been pretty vocal about his support for bitcoin and his desire to see it retain its digital nature. With that in mind, he recently tweeted that a Tesla could become a miner in a future decentralized economic system that’s powered by cryptos. “Tesla could help bitcoin transition to clean energy, says Elon Musk”.
Elon Musk thinks the world needs to transition to clean energy, an argument that he expects will resonate with readers of his new book The Case For Openness. Musk has invested a lot in Tesla, the US electric car company he founded in 2003. From his home in Los Angeles he has been the voice behind the company’s efforts to produce sustainable electric cars despite the fact that they are still far from mass-market. And he’s not stopping there. Musk is also the CEO of SolarCity, which makes solar panels for homes, offices and businesses.. Read more about elon musk bitcoin and let us know what you think.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, made headlines once again during his recent appearance at The B Word, a renowned Bitcoin conference. Musk said during the conference (see video below) that Tesla may play a significant role in the future of Bitcoin, particularly that Tesla could assist Bitcoin in transitioning to sustainable energy.
Tesla may be able to assist Bitcoin in its move to sustainable energy.
Musk gave a talk at The B Word conference on July 21st. The conference, which focuses on Bitcoin and other digital currencies, is well-known in the cryptocurrency sector. During the discussion, Steve Lee, the CEO of Square Crypto, asked what the answer to the energy-intensive Bitcoin business could be. He was particularly interested in learning how to hasten Bitcoin’s transition to renewable, clean energy.
Then Lee raised the key issue of whether Tesla might play a part in this transformation.
Musk shocked the crypto community when he said that he believes Tesla may play a role. Musk indicated that Tesla’s whole purpose or existence was to aid the world’s transition to renewable energy, which he believes includes Bitcoin.
Musk did not expand on the concept because he had a contemplative moment shortly after delivering these remarks, reflecting on Tesla’s growth and development, as well as the numerous difficulties and concerns he had to face as a result of this business. Tesla is probably responsible for two-thirds of all personal and professional suffering combined, he said.
Musk isn’t through with Bitcoin yet.
Musk stated in early 2021 that Tesla will begin taking Bitcoin payments for its electric vehicles, as many of you may recall. However, he stated a few months later that the business will no longer accept these payments since Bitcoin is not ecologically friendly. He was referring to Bitcoin mining, which is the process of issuing new Bitcoin into circulation.
BTC mining needs a lot of different resources, such as costly mining equipment, a lot of energy, a lot of computer power, and so on. Despite stopping Bitcoin payments, it seems that Musk and Tesla are not done with Bitcoin, based on his latest comments.
It’s also worth mentioning that Musk said that he owns BTC, ETH, and DOGE, with BTC accounting for the majority of his holdings. BTC is also held by SpaceX.
As you may have heard, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that he thinks it’s possible that bitcoin could help the transition to a sustainable energy future. Musk said in a recent interview that he believes bitcoin is a superior way to store and transfer value because it can be transferred directly between two parties in a “virtually instant way”..
